Britney Spears went for a drive in Los Angeles with some new bling in tow.

In photographs obtained by the Daily Mail, the “Toxic” singer can be seen going through a drive-through with her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari, by her side. But it’s the ring pictured on her left hand that’s getting all the attention. In the images, what appears to be a prominent, glimmering diamond is seen on Spears’s engagement finger, leading fans to wonder if the pop star may have become secretly engaged to the male model and personal trainer.

Spears and Asghari first started dating back in 2016 after meeting on the set of the pop star’s “Slumber Party” music video. Since then, Asghari has remained a trusted confidante to Spears as she battles to remove her father from the helm of her 13-year conservatorship and bring an end to the legal arrangement. The model has often taken to social media to show support for his girlfriend and the #FreeBritney movement as she and her fans rally for her freedom to have control over her personal and professional life. During her headline-making 30-minute address in court, where she pleaded for a judge to bring an end to the conservatorship, Spears revealed her desire to ultimately have another child, but said that she isn’t allowed to remove her IUD birth control per the constraints of her conservatorship.

Back in 2019, Ashgari told Entertainment Tonight that he absolutely sees a future with Spears and intends to marry her one day. “This is something that every couple should do. That’s the whole point of a relationship—we are a family,” Asghari told the outlet. “Trust me, if we do ever get married, everybody’s going to know.”
